Messy Church is a way of being church that families and others can all enjoy together. It’s an all-age church with lots of fun, making things together to explore the Bible, then celebrating Jesus in a short time of story, song and prayer followed by a meal together.
Our next Messy Church is on Saturday 4th May at 10.00am
Why not come along and bring a friend.
Other dates for our Messy Church Days in 2019 are 1st June, 6th July, 7th September, 5th October, 2nd November and 7th December.
There are lots of pictures from all our Messy Church days here
There will be an extra Messy Church on Good Friday 19th April when we will be walking the Stations of the Cross. It will be “hands on” with crafts, and followed by a Pilgrims lunch.
This will be in Church from 10.00am – 12.00
What is Messy Church? – Messy Church is for families who might want to meet Jesus, belong to their local church and bring up their children as Christians but can’t cope with traditional Sunday morning church services. We usually meet in the Millennium Centre, although we are sometimes in Church. Parents / Grandparents / Carers stay with their children, we have crafts, stories, singing and sometimes a DVD We finish with a bring and share lunch. We finish about 12.00 o’clock.
