Remembrance Day
 |
The Church was again full to capacity for the Annual Remembrance Day Service. 583 people filled every corner of the Church for the service before going out for the short service and laying of wreaths at the war memorial.
Representatives from many local organisations, the Scouts and Guides, as well as many veterans and families attended the service. Another 200 people, including many of our friends from Churches together in Rainham who had arranged their own services in order to join with us, were waiting to join the act of Remembrance at the war memorial.
Our thanks to Richard for playing the “Last Post” and “Reveille” for us.
